Location/Division Specific Information: Middletown, VA DESCRIPTION A Day in the Life: Start of shift: Review priorities with the supervisor, check for safety updates, and inspect the work area and assigned equipment. Receive materials: Unload or accept incoming items, compare them with shipping documents, and report shortages or damage. Put items away: Label and move materials to their assigned storage locations, updating inventory records as required. Support orders or production: Pick and deliver requested materials, checking item numbers and quantities before moving them. Keep records current: Scan items or complete basic paperwork so inventory locations and quantities stay accurate. Maintain a safe work area: Keep aisles clear, handle materials according to safety procedures, and report hazards or equipment issues. End of shift: Return equipment, organize the work area, complete outstanding records, and hand off urgent or unfinished work. REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Required: No previous work experience required Preferred: Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts) Knowledge Basic warehouse, inventory, and material-handling practices Common shipping, receiving, and storage procedures Workplace safety practices, including safe lifting and equipment use Basic counting, labeling, and recordkeeping procedures Skills Follow written and verbal instructions Count, sort, label, and move materials accurately Use basic warehouse tools and equipment, with training as needed Complete simple inventory or shipping records Communicate clearly and work cooperatively with a team Physical Requirements / Work Environment Lift and move materials within the role’s physical requirements Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods as needed Maintain accuracy while completing routine, repetitive tasks Follow safety procedures and report damaged or misplaced materials Adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment What We Offer: Compensation Competitive Pay Performance Related Bonus where eligible Annual merit performance-based increase Excellent Benefits Medical benefits Paid Time Off/Annual Leave Employee Referral Bonus Career Advancement Opportunities Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Virginia is $15.00–$22.50. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
