The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. As a member of the Merchandising Capabilities team, you will help build, enable, and advance critical business capabilities that support both day-to-day operations and the future of merchandising. As an Enterprise Clearance Strategy Lead , you’ll take the lead in shaping and scaling Target’s enterprise Clearance capability, building the strategies, tools, and processes that drive optimal financial outcomes and align with our broader price perception and operational goals. Your work will span building the process and capability for long-range planning that syncs with in-season execution, ensuring that Clearance is positioned as a strategic lever across the organization. You’ll drive capability building by influencing priorities across Product, Data Science, and Analytics—leading the integration of tools like IVY with planning systems, and accelerating automation efforts for program setup, forecasting, and in-season tracking. Your leadership will ensure that our optimization tools continue to evolve to meet the dynamic needs of the business. You’ll also support Enterprise Clearance initiatives—partnering to simplify and automate clearance processes, define playbooks and guardrails, and bring consistency to how we plan and execute Clearance strategies from long-range planning (LRP) through to in-season actions. Your influence will extend into critical clearance price initiatives (like flex fulfill clearance) that impact our guest and teams across the enterprise. In addition, you’ll be a key player in enterprise level EOS planning efforts—supporting cross-functional teams during high-impact seasonal transitions (like Q4) and ensuring that strategic intent translates to effective execution. Your success will rely on your ability to lead through influence, drive cross-functional alignment, and use data to identify risks and opportunities. You'll bring strategic problem-solving, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset to a highly dynamic space. In turn, we’ll support you with robust onboarding, development resources, and the chance to grow as a strategic thought partner across the enterprise. The exciting part of retail? About you: • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience • 6+ years previous merchandising experience (ex: Enterprise Price, Merch, PIM, finance, etc.) • Experience leading complex projects and enterprise strategies • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maximize relationships • Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong analytical, decision-making, project management, planning and organizational skills This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
