Your Impact The Community Engagement Manager supports the development and execution of Lowe's community engagement strategy by leading volunteer programs, nonprofit partnerships, and community initiatives that strengthen the company's impact across stores, supply chain, and corporate functions. This role partners cross-functionally to activate associate volunteerism, advance signature community programs, and ensure alignment with Lowe's business priorities and brand values. The manager is responsible for program implementation, relationship management, and performance tracking to ensure community initiatives deliver measurable impact for associates, customers, and the communities Lowe's serves. This position works closely with field leaders, corporate teams, and external nonprofit partners to drive scalable, well-governed programs that enhance associate engagement and support shared value outcomes. What You Will Do Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of enterprise volunteer programs across stores, supply chain, and corporate functions to drive broad associate participation. Partner with field leaders, supply chain operations, and corporate teams to integrate community engagement initiatives into business priorities and key moments throughout the year. Cultivate and manage relationships with national and local nonprofit partners to ensure strong collaboration, program alignment, and measurable community impact. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Lowe’s signature community programs and campaigns, ensuring consistency and scalability across markets. Collaborate with Internal Communications and HR to promote volunteer opportunities, elevate storytelling, and drive awareness and participation among associates. Ensure volunteer activities and nonprofit partnerships adhere to corporate policies, risk management standards, and regulatory requirements. Manage program budgets, grants, and related resources to ensure effective allocation and stewardship of community investment funds. Track participation metrics, volunteer hours, and community impact outcomes; prepare reports and insights for leadership and stakeholders. Maintain and enhance volunteer management systems, platforms, and processes to improve the associate experience and streamline program administration. Identify opportunities to expand, scale, and innovate community engagement efforts by benchmarking industry best practices and incorporating associate feedback. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Marketing Activation, Event Planning, Communications, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable 6+ years of corporate or retail experience working with frontline teams, field ops, or associate-facing programs. 6+ years of experience in project management and experience design Preferred Skills/Education Master’s degree Marketing, Event Planning, Communications, Public Relations or related field Experience corporate or retail environment About Lowe’s Lowe’s Companies, Inc.
