Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier program, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.  Job Description Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director – Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) to join our US Corporate Health & Safety team. The successful candidate will supports the organization's strategic objectives by strengthening enterprise-wide safety governance, reducing operational risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advancing a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing across the US and Canada, providing strategic guidance to clients and project teams while supporting business growth initiatives.  This role requires a strong construction safety consulting background, excellent leadership capabilities, and experience managing client relationships, compliance programs, audits, and health and safety advisory services throughout the project lifecycle.  Responsibilities  Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to clients and project teams on construction health and safety matters.  Lead and manage the delivery of SHQ consultancy services across multiple projects and programs.  Advise clients on applicable OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and industry best practices.  Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and compliance reviews to assess performance and identify corrective actions.  Evaluate contractors and supply chain safety programs to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.  Review and assess client health and safety management systems and recommend process improvements.  Facilitate risk assessments, hazard analyses, and design-for-safety reviews throughout project delivery.  Develop and deliver health and safety training programs, workshops, and client awareness sessions.  Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and industry partners.  Support business development activities through proposal preparation, technical presentations, thought leadership, and industry engagement.  Mentor and develop junior safety professionals and support cross-functional project teams.  Lead investigations into incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, identifying root causes and corrective actions.  Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and maintenance of project safety records and compliance requirements.  Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.  Master’s degree preferred.  Minimum 10+ years of construction health and safety, EHS, or consulting experience.  Demonstrated success leading health and safety programs across large-scale construction, infrastructure, industrial, commercial, or capital projects.  Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and risk management principles.  Experience conducting audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and incident investigations.  Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.  Excellent project and program management skills.  Strong commercial awareness with experience identifying and pursuing business development opportunities.  Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, and report writing skills.  Ability to lead teams and work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment.  Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.  Preferred Certifications  Certified Safety Professional (CSP)  Associate Safety Professional (ASP)  Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)  Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)  Membership in ASSP, NSC, CMAA, DBIA, or other relevant professional organizations  Additional Information *On site requirements might change based on client needs* SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
