About the role

Job Description Operate and monitor jumbo slitting equipment safely and efficiently to meet production schedules and quality standards. Perform machine setup, adjustments, troubleshooting, and changeovers as required. Ensure accurate recording and reporting of jumbo roll and slit roll consumption. Monitor product quality and take corrective action when defects or process deviations are identified. Follow all BPS, 5S, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively participate in continuous improvement activities. Communicate production issues, material shortages, quality concerns, and equipment problems to appropriate personnel. Support team objectives while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety expectations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge / Skill / Experience .1. Possesses basic mechanical skills .2. Basic mathematical skills (measurements, standard, metric) .3. Legible hand writing Additional Information Unloading and reloading pallets Printing labels Reading and following standard operating procedures Maintaining knowledge of high risk items and how to handle them Maintaining knowledge of all safety requirements and procedures and adhere to all Safety Absolutes Understanding milk run pick-up points Understanding of KanBan methodology Adhere to "5S" standards.
