Job Description Be part of the team that keeps our hotel safe, welcoming, and running smoothly. As a PM Security Agent, you’ll be a trusted presence throughout the property, protecting our guests, employees, and hotel while responding confidently and professionally when it matters most. Primary Duties : Patrol hotel property, including guest areas, back-of-house areas, parking areas, entrances, and other designated locations to maintain a safe and secure environment. Monitor hotel activity and respond promptly to security concerns, disturbances, emergencies, and requests for assistance. Provide a visible security presence throughout the property while maintaining a professional, approachable, and guest-focused demeanor. Respond to and document incidents involving guests, employees, property damage, accidents, injuries, suspicious activity, and other security-related matters. Prepare clear, accurate, and timely incident reports and maintain required security logs and documentation. Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire alarms, evacuations, medical emergencies, and other critical situations. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas and assist with access control as needed. Support the safety of employees during evening operations, including responding to workplace concerns and providing escorts when appropriate. Assist guests and employees with lost and found inquiries and follow established procedures for securing and documenting recovered property. Monitor surveillance systems and other security equipment as assigned. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards, security concerns, or unusual conditions and promptly report or address concerns. Respond to noise complaints, guest disturbances, and other situations requiring security assistance in a calm and professional manner. Coordinate with hotel leadership and local emergency services or law enforcement when necessary. Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive guest, employee, and security-related information. Follow all hotel safety, security, emergency, and loss-prevention policies and procedures. Perform other security and safety-related duties as assigned to support hotel operations. Qualifications Previous security experience in a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality environment preferred. Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and the ability to balance safety and security with exceptional, discreet guest service. Professional, polished, and approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to creating a welcoming environment. Excellent observation and situational awareness with the ability to anticipate concerns and respond proactively. Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional while handling sensitive, challenging, or emergency situations. Strong communication, de-escalation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential guest, employee, and hotel matters. Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and detailed incident reports and security documentation. Knowledge of hotel safety, emergency response, security, and loss-prevention practices. Ability to work collaboratively with hotel leadership and operational teams while also working effectively with minimal supervision. Flexible availability to work PM shifts, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on business needs. Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn hotel security, surveillance, and reporting systems. High school diploma or equivalent required. Pay: $32.50 per hour Schedule:  PM Shift (Variable) Hiring Process & Timeline:  To help candidates plan accordingly, we anticipate the following timeline for the recruitment process: First-Round Interviews -  Candidates selected to move forward will be invited to interview on Monday, 9/28 through Friday, 10/02, between 11:00AM and 4:00PM. Final Interviews -  Candidates advancing to the final stage should plan to be available between Monday, 10/05 and Friday, 10/09 between 11:00PM and 6:00 PM. Hiring Decision -  A final hiring decision is expected shortly after the final interview stage. Interview timing may be adjusted based on scheduling availability.
