Job Description The Purchasing Receiver is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing all deliveries to the property, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper storage of goods. This role supports multiple departments by maintaining an orderly storeroom, documenting inventory, and facilitating smooth product flow.  This full-time position has hourly compensation of $35.00 per hour.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Receive and inspect all deliveries for accuracy, damage, and quality compliance  Match incoming goods with purchase orders and delivery documentation  Communicate any discrepancies or quality issues to the Purchasing Manager  Organize and label goods in designated storeroom locations, maintaining order and cleanliness  Rotate stock using FIFO principles and monitor product shelf life  Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts or audits  Safely operate carts, lifts, and equipment to move and store goods  Support kitchen and beverage teams with product retrieval and distribution  Qualifications 1–2 years of receiving, stockroom, or inventory experience, preferably in hospitality or food service  Basic understanding of product handling, storage conditions, and safety protocols  Ability to read purchase orders, invoices, and shipping manifests  Comfortable with physical labor and working in temperature-controlled environments  Familiarity with inventory software or basic computer literacy  SKILLS  Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy  Strong communication and accountability in cross-department support  Reliable, punctual, and efficient with time management  Able to multitask and handle a steady flow of deliveries  PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT  Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas  Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces  Remain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shift  Medium Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly moving objects, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds  Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
