The City of Bushnell is one of the most rapidly growing cities in Florida, known as “The City Dedicated to the Quality of Life.” As a Water / Wastewater Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of wastewater collection and water distribution systems, including remote pump station equipment, valves, piping, lift stations, and water meters. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Flexibility and extended shifts may be required to meet seasonal demands of the water and wastewater system. Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position. On-Call Responsibilities: Must be available to serve in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Required to carry the on-call phone while assigned to on-call duties. Must be able to respond to emergency events and alarm callouts within one hour. Receive a $200 weekly bonus while serving on-call. Receive a minimum of 2 hours pay at 1.5x overtime rate for each callout related to water plants, splash pad operations, lift stations, E-1 stations, water breaks, and wastewater plant issues.
