A Career with Point72’s Operations Team Point72’s Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firmwide for all products, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange and futures, and digital assets across global markets. The team provides opportunities to build deep operational expertise and broad exposure across the firm, supporting internal mobility and long-term career development. What you’ll do Confirm daily trade activity across macro and derivatives products, and help resolve exceptions in a timely manner Reconcile positions with prime brokers, futures commission merchants, and trading counterparties to support operational control Partner with portfolio managers (PMs), traders, counterparties, prime brokers, and futures commission merchants to resolve trade-related issues Manage trade support workflows across bonds, repos, interest rate swaps, loans, credit, foreign exchange, futures, options, and other over-the-counter derivatives Monitor foreign currency exposure and help reduce risk through foreign exchange transaction execution and support Respond to ad hoc questions from internal teams and external clients with accurate data and analysis Participate in onboarding new portfolio manager teams, including account setup, platform training, and third-party connectivity Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, stronger controls, and greater efficiency Support Operations workflows for macro and derivatives trade activity What’s required Zero to two years of experience in a middle office operations function at a hedge fund, asset manager, bank, or similar financial institution Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, economics, mathematics, or a related field Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives products, including rates, credit, futures, foreign exchange, and OTC derivatives Strong problem-solving and analytical skills High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work that meets best-in-class standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and adapt to a changing environment Strong work ethic, self motivation, and confidence Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and basic understanding of VBA Commitment to the highest ethical standards We take care of our people We invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being. The annual base salary range for this role is $90,000-$115,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
