Safely rig, move, position, and install assemblies using approved equipment and procedures. Follow applicable rigging, lifting, LOTO, machine-safety, and material-handling requirements. Troubleshooting & Rework Troubleshoot mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, motion, and system-interface integration issues at a complexity appropriate to experience and level. Diagnose alignment, fit, tolerance, interference, routing, component-interface, installation-sequence, and configuration issues. Perform approved repair, rework, adjustment, replacement, and corrective activities. Identify discrepancies between released requirements and as-built conditions and escalate issues requiring Engineering evaluation, disposition, or clarification. Support Engineering with root-cause analysis, corrective actions, engineering changes, deviations, nonconformances, and configuration-management activities as appropriate to level. Verify hardware and integration work following corrective actions, repair, rework, or adjustment. Manufacturing Documentation & Configuration Control Complete MES work orders, digital travelers, checklists, inspection records, and other required manufacturing documentation. Use applicable engineering change, deviation, nonconformance, and configuration-management systems to document and control changes. Verify integration work against MES instructions, drawings, BOMs, specifications, acceptance criteria, and configuration requirements. Maintain accurate as-built configuration, hardware identification, revision control, and traceability. Manufacturing & Process Improvement Identify gaps, errors, ambiguities, or impractical steps within MES work instructions and supporting documentation. Provide hands-on technical feedback to Manufacturing and Design Engineering to improve MES work instructions, standard work, checklists, and integration procedures. Identify recurring integration issues and opportunities to improve build sequence, tooling, fixtures, material presentation, workstation layout, and integration flow. Partner with Manufacturing and Design Engineering to improve buildability, accessibility, manufacturability, quality, and repeatability. Support factory installation, commissioning, qualification, process development, and printer build-ramp activities. Identify constraints affecting build schedule, quality, or repeatability and support resolution. Team & Cross-Functional Support Work with Sub-Assembly, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to communicate technical issues, material constraints, build status, and integration risks. Collaborate with other technicians during complex or unfamiliar integration activities and provide technical guidance as appropriate to level. Support safe, repeatable, and scalable printer integration practices as factory operations ramp. Maintain clean, organized, FOD-controlled work areas and follow applicable safety, workmanship, ESD, LOTO, rigging, and material-handling requirements. Basic Qualifications Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls 2+ years of hands-on mechanical/electromechanical assembly, equipment integration, manufacturing, or related technical experience; equivalent experience considered.
