Company: Joseph Chiarello & Co., Inc Firearms Business Insurance (MGA, part of Amwins) Job Title: Underwriter Key Responsibilities Underwrite property, commercial general liability, and umbrella. Evaluate renewals for pricing and coverage in accordance with established underwriting guidelines Solicit and cultivate new business opportunities Develop and maintain productive relationships with brokers to drive growth and profitability Maintain profitable renewal business through active relationship management and timely quotations. Monitor underwriting results to ensure adherence to growth targets and target loss ratios. Stay current on segment trends, including emerging exposures. Participate in claims calls and program audits. Facilitate the rate-quote-bind-issue process by working as part of a larger underwriting team, including back-office staff. Requirements 3+ years’ experience as an underwriter or insurance broker in commercial lines preferred. Active P&C license preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Experience with AI tools is a plus.
